With many branches in Japan , the Company provides a broad range of services for domestic infrastructure projects, including power generation, geotechnical services, underground construction, river and coastal planning engineering, and road bridge and tunnel construction. Company History
Apr. 1963: Kensetsu Gijyutsu Co., Ltd. established in Nishi Ginza (now Ginza San-chome) Tokyo. Soon after, the Osaka branch (now Osaka Head Office) begins operations in Osaka.
Feb. 1964: Company's name changed to Kabushiki Kaisha Kensetsu Gijyutsu Kenkyuujyo (CTI Engineering Co., Ltd., in English).
Dec. 1981: CTI Science Co., Ltd. was established.
Feb. 1982: Shin Doboku Kaihatsu Co., Ltd. was established.
Dec. 1983: Creation of CTI Chosa Sekkei Co., Ltd., specializing in construction management.
Oct. 1987: Tech Consultants Co., Ltd., was created.
Jun. 1989: CTI Ground Planning Co., Ltd., was created.
Jul. 1989: Front Division was created to specialize in model planning for dams, rivers and flood prediction.
Apr. 1994: Construction Management Division was created.
Jun. 1994: CTI listed on Tokyo Stock Exchange.
Aug. 1996: Front Division reorganized; Research Center established in Tsukuba, Ibaraki prefecture.
Oct. 1996: CTI shares listed on Second Section Tokyo Stock Exchange.
Mar. 1999: Overseas Project Division created for further expansion overseas.

Apr. 1999: Overseas activities of CTI Engineers Co. Ltd. transferred to CTI Engineering International.
Jun. 1999: CTI shares listed on First Section of Tokyo Stock Exchange.
Dec. 1999: Management Techno Co., Ltd., was created.
Mar. 2001: CTI Soil and Environment Co., Ltd., was created
Nov. 2002: CTI Environment Techno Co., Ltd., was created.
Apr. 2003: CTI Academy Co., Ltd., was created.
Apr. 2004: CTI AURA Co., Ltd., was created.
Jun. 2006: Activities of Foundation for Fukuoka Land Reorganization Society
transferred to Fukuoka Land Reorganization Co., Ltd.
Jan. 2008: Wuhan CTI-CRSRI Engineering & Environment Co., Ltd. was created.
Jun. 2010: Chi-ken Sogo Consultants Co.,Ltd was created.
Apr. 2011: "Fukuoka Land Readjustment Co., Ltd." changed its name to "Fukuoka Urban Engineering Co., Ltd."
