Kokudobunka kenkyujo is a think tank that brings together knowledge and technology from across the CTI Engineering Group to conduct wide-ranging research and develop policy proposals for a more prosperous society from a sustainable community perspective. Through these activities, kokudobunka kenkyujo plays a role in "creating spaces that enrich the mind and spirit."
Kokudobunka kenkyujo conducts research on policies and social systems spanning a wide range of fields other than the infrastructure-related research, planning, and design work that consulting engineers have traditionally been engaged in—for example, research on Japan's land, culture, economy, environment, and public welfare and well-being. It also aims to raise public recognition of the CTI Engineering Group and increase the Group's value to society through various community and social contribution activities.
