CTI had formulated the master plan for autonomous water management for the seven major river basins (3,697 km²) in South Sulawesi Province. The major approach to the plan formulation was decided through the public consultation meetings, where proposals and suggestions were obtained from relevant private stakeholders as well as representatives of communities for incorporation into the plan.

With this a proper water management plan was elaborated in order to mitigate the flood effects and improve the life conditions in the area.
