Ebisu Bridge is a plate-girder bridge, located in the center of downtown Osaka over the Dotonbori River, the original bridge was built in 1925 and ever since has been one of the city's most important gathering spots. Over the pass of the years the bridge decayed, the Osaka Metropolitan Government decided to renew this iconic bridge.
The architectural design was openly competed for in accordance with the client's strong wish. CTI prepared the structural type selection before the competition and subsequently implemented detailed design.
