The New-Washizumi Tunnel, which is 1039 metes long,
This tunnel is located near the South Alps National Park in Yamanashi Prefecture. It was constructed to make the original and dangerous mountain road safer. CTI implemented the conceptual, basic and detailed design of the tunnel, including the lighting and other utilities. The company also, conducted a geological survey, and was responsible for construction supervision and biological monitoring to protect the precious botanical and ornithological species in the area.
