The Izawa Dam is located on Izawa River, a tributary of Kitakami River, in Iwate Prefecture. It is a multi-purpose dam with a dam wall height of 132 m, and a dam crest of 723 m. The dam volume is 13 million m3, making it one of the biggest rock-fill dams in Japan
CTI Engineering provide Project Management for the Izawa Dam Construction. This role included not only general construction management, but also design verification, development of cost-reduction proposals and facilitating interaction between the Client and the Contractors.
