This innovative technique was developed by CTI to prevent the "Heat Island Effect", which has become very common in the metropolitan areas these days.

The technology involves the use of (advanced) treated sewerage water. It results in:

  • Reduction of urban temperatures (heat island effect);
  • Improvement of water cycle;
  • Optimization of the cycle of urban sewerage and thus the water environment.

CTI, in cooperation with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government, conducted a test of this new technology, to confirm that, there were no undesirable effects.
