Work Style Reform

Starting with the “Work Style Reform for 1,300 Employees (2008 Total)” proposed in 2008, we have been advancing various work style reforms. We are committed to creating a workplace conducive to work by improving the labor environment for achieving work-life balance for each employee and establishing systems to support diverse work styles.

Selecting start and end times

  • We have introduced a flexible working, allowing employees to choose from six different shifts (e.g. Ⅱ: 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Ⅵ: 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.) in addition to the basic 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (7-hour) workday.

Promoting “No Overtime Days”

  • We have designated every Wednesday throughout the year as a No Overtime Day, encouraging employees to leave on time. We are actively working on adjusting schedules and prioritizing tasks to get work completed within regular hours.

Encouraging the taking of leave

  • To ensure employees have time to enjoy leisure activities away from work, we have set a target average annual paid leave utilization rate of 70% and are promoting the use of annual paid leave through a combination of measures, such as designating recommended vacation days and specifying a period to take holidays during the summer.
  • Annual paid leave can be taken not only for full days, but also for half days or by the hour, which caters to the diverse needs of our employees.
  • Accrued Paid Leave System: Employees can save up their non-carryover annual paid leave days for use when they need to recuperate from illness or injury, allowing them to take the necessary leave without worrying about using up their annual leave.
