To prevent information leaks, an information protection system has been introduced to keep information confidential and traceable.

CTI Engineering Co., Ltd. has introduced an information protection system as a precaution against information leakage incidents and has strengthened information protection by classifying, encrypting and tracking information. This ensures that our stakeholders can rest assured of our operational structure.

　

1. Background to introduction
CTI Engineering Co., Ltd. has established an information security management system to protect the information of its stakeholders and has also obtained ISMS (ISO/IEC 27001) certification for its security level.

However, conventional measures may not be sufficient, as threats such as ransomware are evolving on a daily basis and the situations in which people are exposed to risk are becoming more complex and diverse. Therefore, in preparation for any eventuality, we have decided to introduce further information protection mechanisms based on the assumption that information may be leaked or misused.

　

2. Overview of the implemented system
Microsoft's Azure Information Protection (AIP) is deployed across the company to centrally manage the classification, encryption, tracking and protection of information.

With the introduction of AIP, in the event of unauthorized removal of files due to cyber-attacks or ransomware, attackers will not be able to access the information in the files as the encrypted information will only be taken out.

It also provides an audit trail of attempted unauthorized opening of the removed files outside the company, and in some cases access permissions can be revoked at a later date.

　

3. Effects of the introduction of the system
The introduction of the information protection system will improve business stability through measures against information leaks and outflows, such as 'keeping information secret from users who are not authorized to access it' and 'tracking information that has been taken out illegally', as well as providing peace of mind to order takers and other stakeholders. The system also provides peace of mind to clients and other stakeholders.
