'Workplace expedition' was held at our Kyushu Office.

Since 2008, we have been inviting employees' families (children, spouses, etc.) to the workplace to show them how important and interesting the work of consulting engineer is and to deepen their understanding of the profession.　

　

This year, the event was held on Friday 23 August at our Kyushu Office and attended by 27 families (total 79 people, including 39 children).　

　

On the day, we prepared a variety of programmes that were devised in a way that only a consulting engineer could devise, and that children could enjoy and experience. The children were also given a tour of the seismic isolation facility on the basement floor, which is normally closed to employees (the foundation of our Kyushu branch building uses high-damping laminated rubber for seismic isolation).

　

It was filled with the laughter of energetic children, making for a lively day.
