We have formulated our basic policy on research and development investment for 2026 (64th Term) based on a total budget of 1.5 billion yen (the same as our budget in 2025, which was also 1.5 billion yen).　

　

In line with our basic policy on research and development investment, we are working on research and development related to achieving the two pillars of Mid-Term Management Plan 2027, which we formulated and disclosed in February 2025--Business Portfolio Transformation and Rebuild of Foundation for Growth--to explore research topics under the leadership of our top management, pursue related research and development, and enhance or expand our initiatives related to our young engineers, new employees, and other human capital.
