We have concluded a comprehensive agreement with Soma City in Fukushima Prefecture, which is primarily engaged in the cultivation of grain corn and the manufacture and sale of whiskey.

CTI Engineering Co., Ltd. And its Group company CTI Ascend Co., Ltd. have concluded a comprehensive partnership agreement with Soma City in Fukushima Prefecture for a sustainability project centered around grain corn cultivation and whiskey manufacturing and sales.

1. Purpose of the Partnership Agreement
CTI Ascend Co., Ltd., established in January 2023, aims to contribute to regional reconstruction through sustainable businesses, such as resource recycling and utilization of unused facilities, in Soma City, Fukushima Prefecture, an area affected by the Great East Japan Earthquake.

　

This agreement aims to contribute to the construction of a sustainable society and regional revitalization through mutual cooperation between Soma City, CTI Engineering Co., Ltd., and CTI Ascend Co., Ltd. in light of Soma City's current situation and the issues it faces, as CTI Ascend Co., Ltd. conducts business centered around grain corn cultivation and whiskey manufacturing and sales.

2. Details of the Partnership Agreement

① Matters related to the effective use of farmland in the Tamano district of Soma City
② Matters related to the use of the former Tamano Elementary School facilities as a whiskey distillery
③ Matters related to the construction of sustainable business models such as resource recycling and cooperation on farming and livestock
