To allow staff to autonomously choose their preferred work locations and work hours and enhance work-life balance without compromising work efficiency, we have been working proactively on improving our IT infrastructure, including our communications environment, mobile PCs, and online communication tools; digitizing work through the use of AI and the introduction of RPA; and implementing home working and developing satellite spaces for all employees.

Transforming offices for diverse work styles

To accommodate changing work styles, we are developing a diverse array of workspaces, promoting hot-desking, and working towards creating flexible layouts and ample space.

Year-round informal attire: CTI Smart Casual Biz

We have implemented CTI Smart Casual Biz with no set duration, which allows for year-round casual attire. The aim is to combat global warming, conserve energy, and revitalize the workplace, thereby facilitating a variety of flexible work styles and creating a more comfortable environment for employees.

Promoting home working

To accommodate the diverse work styles of our employees, we provide an environment where all employees can home working for the reasons listed below. This allows them to work from home, while on business trips, or from satellite offices depending on the situation.

  • We have developed internal systems that can accommodate telework by digitizing various procedure applications and approval tasks, such as workflows and electronic authentication, allowing us to achieve paperless operations.
  • We are promoting new forms of workplace communication using ICT tools such as online meetings, training, and 1-on-1 meetings.

Promoting IT innovation

We are promoting information sharing and work efficiency within our company by utilizing IT products, RPA technology, and more.

  • We provide a cloud environment where groups can carry out operations and share information, and offer workspaces for individual employees in the cloud.
  • We have introduced a feature that allows smooth full-text searches from inside and outside the company, enhancing our internal data search capabilities.
  • Through the use of RPA and AI tools, we are reducing the time spent on simple tasks, such as internal procedures and preparation of meeting materials, and standardizing internal meeting materials.

Using the CTI-PM system for thorough project management

  • We have developed our own proprietary project management system to manage progress and share work information.
  • We are leveraging this system to enhance productivity.
